From the start, Arvin Goods was built to do good for people and planet through building the cleanest products on the market. We are proud to have partnered with Aquafil to bring ECONYL® Fiber into the Arvin Goods Material Collection—including our latest range of Underwear.
Right now, 640,000 tons of discarded nylon fishing nets sit beneath the ocean surface. And we’re part of the clean up team. Econyl® regenerated nylon turns waste problems into fashion solutions by collecting and recycling abandoned fishing nets from our oceans and old carpets that otherwise would be destined to landfills.
Here's how it's done
The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps and carpet flooring from landfills and oceans all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover as much nylon as possible.
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.
ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into carpet yarn and textile yarn for the fashion and interior industries. In collaboration with Aquafil and the use of their ECONYL® fiber, Arvin Goods aims to continue producing all of its products from recycled materials and through an entirely closed loop production cycle. This is the reason Arvin Goods is here—to produce the cleanest basics available, leaving the smallest footprint possible behind.
