Declutter responsibly with the Trashie Take Back Bag, now available at Arvin Goods in a compact, more affordable size. Perfect for gently used socks, underwear, t‑shirts, and other worn garments, this smaller bag makes recycling as easy as possible.

How It Works:

1. Buy the bag – Our compact Take Back Bag is just $10
2. Register & ship – Scan the QR code after delivery, follow instructions to print your UPS return label.
3. Fill & drop off – Add clean textiles (socks, tees, underwear) up to 8 lbs. Attach label and ship via UPS or drop box.
4. Earn credit – Get $15 Arvin Goods store credit upon registration—spend it on your next buy!

Our bag is made from 100% recycled polyester. Dimensions: 12″ × 15.5″, holds up to 8 lbs. The bag is fully recyclable and will be recycled after use.

How to use your bag:

Step 1

When you receive your Take Back Bag simply fill it with your unwanted goods (think clothing, socks, underwear, outerwear, t-shirts). Washed items only!

Step 2

Scan the QR code on the bag, choose a shipping option and instantly get your credit of $15 to spend at arvingoods.com

Step 3

Ship it. Print and attach your label to the bag or follow the QR code instructions and return it to a UPS Store or drop box.

How it works.

- 50% of all Take Back Bag items are downcycled into shoddy, rags & insulation.

- 45% of all Take Back Bag items are resold.

- 5% of all Take Back Bag items are sadly, truly trash

We’ve vetted the top sorting and grading facilities. Our recycling partners sort every item into 1 of 250 grades to determine the next stage of the product’s life.

Downcycle

Take Back Bag items are not upcyclable because they are made from unknown materials. So, they are turned into lesser-quality items like insulation or carpeting (aka they are downcycled). Leigh Fibers and Phoenix Fibers are two of our expert downcycling partners.

Resell

Take Back Bag items that can be resold are sent to resale partners that service lower income communities. What this looks like: farmers in other countries accessing low-cost items to cover themselves against the sun. What this doesn’t look like: clothing waste being dumped in a landfill.
