Looking Back on Year #1 and Welcoming 2018

As we start a new year here at Arvin Goods, we’re reflecting on the short first six months of our existence in 2017. (Remember this all just came to life last June!) It’s been a fun and rewarding ride so far. We had the same challenges of any new brand: outgunned, under-funded, no press, no one knew who we were.

Skateboards aren’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of commercial fishing nets, but then again, Bureo Skateboards aren’t exactly your typical board makers.

Simplicity ensues in the basic principles needed to survive and thrive in your element; food, shelter and good company. It is the key to slow living, to friendships and ultimately to happiness. But if anything, with all of these things, considered, it is fundamental to adventure. By keeping things simple on the road, you give more time to what really matters.

We are proud to inform you that we have teamed up with the kind folks at Delivering Good. In September we donated over 1,000 pairs of socks and underwear to the people that need it the most in the wake of recent natural disasters.

Why Arvin?

Why Arvin?

The word sustainable gets thrown around a lot. Overused and almost always misused, it's lost most of its meaning. We buy things because they're labelled as "sustainable," but most of us don't understand what that means, why it matters, and when it’s genuine.
